Girl Scouts are adorable little devils who deal in crack. Yes, I will admit to an addiction to the crack known as "Thin Mint Cookies" that those little angel/devils sell once a year. Yes, I know these cookies are terrible for me and no, I really don't care. Once I get one in my system, I want more... a lot more. If I can get through cookie season without buying any, it's a win, but oh the sinful delight of those years when I buy my supply. LOL. They fuel many happy hours of writing as well. ;-) LOL

Spencer and Rissa are some of my favorite characters. If you haven't read The Artist's Touch epic romance, I hope you will consider doing so soon. There is nothing so thrilling as romance with suspense and emotional rollercoasters. ;-)

I have three nerdlings. No secret there. They range from 15 (16 in November) going on 36; 12 (13 in August) going on 2; and 9 (10 at the end of this month) going on 25. My 15 year old is currently a sopomore in high school and tonight, she and I have a meeting with the local community college so that she can attend the college full time next year rather than the high school. This is a program called 'running start' and she will be working toward her High School diploma at the same time (meaning taking colleges courses that apply toward her HS courses) as she is earning her Associates Degree. She has aspirations of attending the University of Washington for medical school with the ultimate goal of becoming a psychiatrist. Yep, she's 15. Yep, her plans have changed several times over the last couple years, but her focus is much more intense than it ever has been in the past. Do I think she'll changes her plans again? Probably, but who am I to squash her enthusiasm? If she succeeds, then HOORAY!! But getting her from point A (now) to point B (her being called Dr.) may do me in. #NerdlingsWithNerdGoals
