Today's blogger spotlight is on my zany friends at Platypire Reviews. This is a great group of ladies who keep me laughing while they're doing their reading and reviewing. They have a constant debate over cookies and who is #TeamChocolateChip or #TeamOatmealRaisin and keep things fun with their shenanigans. I got lucky and got three of the group to answer my interview questions.

Aside from loving to read, why did you start blogging?
I was helping my friend Jude.
How long have you been blogging?
A little more than a year
Where is you blog’s home? US or abroad?

What’s your favorite book?
I can't pick one book. THAT”S BULL! OKAY OKAY. My favorite books are the ones with words that tell a wonderful story. :-P
What’s your favorite genre?
BALLS! Everyday it changes! It depends on my mood. My answer is FICTION!
Is there any specific genre that you don’t care to read? Is nature books a genre?
I'm talking about those books where its man or woman verus nature and they find themselves. They also find water and eat the dog. Yeah I don't like those books where they eat the dog. Wait! I also don't like those books where the dogs die. So the genre where the dogs dies gets a pass from me.
What is the one thing about your blog that you think makes it stand out among the other blogs?
There's a girl named Sofia on it and she's a hoot!
What’s your favorite thing about blogging?
Discovering new books and making fun of Jude. Also rallying the troops from #TeamChocolateChip. They are truly the best.
When you aren’t busy with your blog, what do you enjoy doing?
Sleep and drink vodka.
What would you like the whole world to know about your blog?
We are the best blog in the world. Nuff said.

A bit less than 2 years, I think.

What’s your favorite book?
OMGGGGG Why would you ask such a thing?! I'll have to go with my hardback copy of The Complete Novels of Jane Austen on this one. Does that count? A collection?
What’s your favorite genre?
0.0 Favorite? I'll go with....Either Dystopian or Horror. Or Dystopian Horror, even better!
Is there any specific genre that you don’t care to read?
I don’t care much for biographies or non-fiction. I read to escape into a fantasy where I can pretend to be anyone and anything I want. ^_^
What is the one thing about your blog that you think makes it stand out among the other blogs?
PLATYPIRES. Need I say more? Maybe that we’re genre-inclusive, and don’t turn anything away simply for the type of book it is, and we like to be involved and have others involved with us.
What’s your favorite thing about blogging?
I like feeling that I’ve actually done something to help authors. They’re bad asses!
When you aren’t busy with your blog, what do you enjoy doing?
Fishing, camping, reading, playing with my kiddos, gardening, and music all throughout.
What would you like the whole world to know about your blog?

What kind of sick question is this?!

English. Is that a genre? I like books in languages I can read. ...my favorite genre changes often.
Is there any specific genre that you don’t care to read?
Nah. I guess I'm less likely to read religious texts though.
What is the one thing about your blog that you think makes it stand out among the other blogs?
It is named after after platypire. Also we do what we want.
What’s your favorite thing about blogging?
Getting to chat up other bloggers and authors. Mostly because it gives me an excuse to pester people.

Skyrim!
