There are days...

I spend a lot of my time online, reading headlines (only headlines because full storylines depress me beyond words); seeing the trends on Twitter; noting the high/middle school mentality on Facebook. The more I am exposed to these things, the more I understand the need for many to get lost in a book. It makes me work harder to give you, my readers, something to take you away from the daily stress of the economy and the bombardment of horrible things happening in the world. I hope that I have given a shred of hope to someone, or one of you the strength to carry on, or just an escape for a brief time. With all the real life drama, I promise to keep giving you books to disappear in.
